Pierre Jeanniot, O.C., C.Q FRAes
Director
Mr. Jeanniot, is President and CEO of JINMAG Inc., a consulting, management and investment company which he founded in 1990 and which provides advice to governments, civil aviation authorities, airlines and other aviation-related companies. He also serves on the Board of a number of subsidiary companies of Scotia Bank, as well as Jet Airways, Travel Success Group, among others.
Pierre Jeanniot was President and CEO of Air Canada from 1984 to 1990 and directed the privatization of the State-owned airline, which he then headed for the next two years.
In 1993, he was appointed Director General and CEO of the International Air Transport Association (IATA). In June 2002, he was awarded the lifetime title of Director General Emeritus in recognition of his outstanding contribution to IATA and international civil aviation. He was named Officer of the Order of Canada in 1989, and appointed Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur by the French government in 1991. In January 2008, he was elected a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society.
Brigadier-General (retired) Robert Pepper (Pep) Fraser, OMM, CD, P.Eng.
Director
Mr. Fraser retired from the Canadian Forces in 1994 after 33 years of distinguished service. His last Canadian Forces assignment was at National Defence Headquarters (NDHQ), where he was Director General Communications & Electronics Development.
Following his retirement, Mr. Fraser accepted a senior position with the NATO Airborne Early Warning and Control Programme Management Agency (NAPMA) in Brunssum, The Netherlands. In that position, he was responsible for the modernization of NATO's fleet of E-3A Airborne Early Warning & Control Aircraft and Trainer Cargo Aircraft. During his tenure, more than $1.2 billion of fleet upgrades were completed.
Brigadier-General Fraser is a distinguished graduate of the University of Saskatchewan (Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering), the Canadian Forces National Defence College, the American Industrial College of the Armed Forces in National Security Management, and the NATO Defence College (Rome). He is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario (APEO), the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the Armed Forces Communications & Electronics Association (AFCEA). He returned to Canada in 2003 and established his own consulting services company.
Keith King
Director
Keith King’s background includes extensive experience in international trade through the founding of Merchant Pier and Dealer Source, which buy and sell electrical products in countries throughout the world. In 2004 Mr. King turned to private investment ventures and founded Keith King Investments for the management of investments in limited liability partnerships, debtor-in-possession financing, bridge financing and factoring. He has also been a Luxell shareholder since 2005.
John B. MacDonald, Director
John MacDonald operates John MacDonald & Associates, an accounting firm which he founded in 19XX. The firm specializes in working with owner managed businesses and providing detailed tax planning. John has grown the firm to over 150 corporations and over 1000 individuals. He originally .entered public practice in 1980 after graduating from The University of Western Ontario in Economics and Wilfrid Laurier in Accounting in 1980 and articled with Touche Ross & Co and then worked in Government for eight years before establishing his own firm. He is active in local politics and serves on other corporate boards as well as several charitable boards including John Knox Christian School and Walk in the Word.
Giulio Vitali, Director
Mr. Vitali has a diverse background as an entrepreneur and land developer. His experience includes founding different ventures in both the retail and manufacturing sectors. As a developer he has worked on a variety of local and foreign land development projects. He's a member of the Board of Directors of the National Broadcast Reading Service Inc. (NBRS), a non-profit organization established in 1989 on the recommendation of Parliament's Standing Committee of the Status of Disabled Persons.
Jean-Louis Larmor
Director and Chief Executive Officer
Jean-Louis’ sales and marketing experience was gained in dealing with leading corporations and government agencies in the aerospace, defense and security industries in both European and North American markets. His background includes positions with Thales International Canada and North America (U.S.-based) as well as with Sextant Avionique, in both Canada and France, where he was responsible for strategy and business development. Jean-Louis also spent several years in marketing and contracts management positions with Aerospatiale, France.
