Jean-Louis Larmor
Chief Executive Officer

Jean-Louis’ sales and marketing experience was gained in dealing with leading corporations and government agencies in the aerospace, defense and security industries in both European and North American markets. His background includes positions with Thales International Canada and North America (U.S.-based) as well as with Sextant Avionique, in both Canada and France, where he was responsible for strategy and business development. Jean-Louis also spent several years in marketing and contracts management positions with Aerospatiale, France.

Richard (Rick) Pepperall
Vice President Engineering and Operations

Rick comes to Luxell from L-3 Communications Electronic Systems (“L-3”) where he was responsible for design and development engineering of display products. During his 26 years with L-3, Rick was involved with a wide range of engineering disciplines dealing with high technology military products. Over the last 10 years, Rick’s responsibilities included display products used in the Apache helicopter, Boeing C17, and the A10, F18, F16 aircraft. He also provided a technical interface with customers such as Boeing, Lockheed Martin and Harris Corporation. Rick obtained both his B.A.Sc and Master’s in Engineering degrees from the University of Toronto.

Gerard M. Hartley LCol (Ret’d)
Vice President Business Development

Gerard Hartley retired from the Canadian Forces in 1996. During his career he held positions with NORAD’s Semi-Automated Ground Environment (SAGE) Programming Agency, as Chief of Space Data and Analysis Branch with US Space Command, as the Canadian Forces Assistant Deputy Commander for Operations at the 1st Space Wing, Peterson AFB, Colorado and then as the Canadian Forces Commanding Officer and Deputy Director NORAD Systems Support Facility (NSSF) at Tyndall AFB, Florida His final responsibility in the Canadian Forces was as Wing Commander and Base Commander, CFB Gander, Newfoundland, a 500 person base. Following his retirement, he held positions as Managing Director, CAE Shaheen (Pvt) Ltd, a joint venture aircraft repair and overhaul company in Islamabad, Pakistan, consultant to Spar Aerospace Limited and Northrop Grumman Canada as a Senior Marketing Manager where he assisted the company in capturing several multi million dollar defense contracts. Between 2005 and until joining Luxell, he provided consulting services to a number of companies working within the defense products industry, including Luxell.

Simon Dann
Director Government & Corporate Relations

Simon’s joined Luxell with more than 25 years of diverse experience in communications and market development consulting. He has also held senior management positions with responsibility for companies in industrial and advanced technology sectors, particularly with small format power systems and fuel cell technologies. Simon has followed Luxell’s development over the past decade as a shareholder
